On June 13 the Chamber of Commerce held its monthly luncheon at the Once Upon a Time in America Museum at 6746 US-89 east of town. With about 50 attendees and food provided by Honey’s Marketplace, a ribbon cutting for this one-of-a-kind destination was held directly afterward, complete with six-shooters!

Left to right:

  1. Once Upon a Time in America Museum owner Jason Grossman cuts the ribbon the old-fashioned way.

  2. Pastor Doug Hounshell cuts the ribbon at the new Cliffview Baptist Church building.

On June 15 an enthusiastic crowd gathered for a ribbon cutting at the new Cliffview Baptist Church building at 426 W Powell Drive in Kanab. A project years in the making, the new building is a practical combination of worship and fellowship space that is sure to serve the congregation well.

The Kanab Area Chamber is on the move!
