The Kanab City Police Department has 6 full time officers, 8 reserve officers from outside the departments, 1 full time animal control officer, and 1 full time secretary.
Responsibilities
The Department is responsible for approximately 5,500 residents living in a 12 square mile area. During the tourist season, which is approximately 7 months long, an added 3,000 or more people stay in Kanab per day.
