August Chamber Luncheon at KCH Ambulance Barn

It was rainy, overcast, and gusty, but the beautiful interior of the Kane County Hospital Ambulance Barn was a welcome retreat for the Chamber’s August luncheon. Open to the public, the monthly lunch gatherings are free for members and $10 for non-members.

  • Claudia Thomas welcomes attendees with a smile.

  • A delicious lunch was provided by the KCH Food Service department.

  • Kurt's presentation, "KCH Today & Tomorrow.

  • Kurt Loveless, KCH CEO, leads his presentation.

Food for the event was provided by KCH’s food service department and featured chicken salad, croissants, salad, and delicious soft cookies.

Chamber Vice-President Ron Thomas welcomed about 25 attendees to the gathering, speaking briefly about the chamber’s all-volunteer board and thanking those who attended the recent SBA Roadshow and WBCUT networking luncheon.

Renewing members since last month’s meeting include Kanab Tour Company, Kane County, Cindy Nelson at Realty ONE, and Taro Coffee Bar.

Next, Ron introduced Kurt Loveless, KCH CEO, who presented a slideshow titled "KCH: Today & Tomorrow,” that included an in-depth look at the hospital’s history, services, and plans for the future. It’s an amazing story, and the organization has a number of exciting changes planned for the next several years that will grow its facility, capacity, and available services. You can view the slideshow on the chamber’s resources page, here.

Thank you to everyone who attended!
